Less than a quarter of 2,000 U.S. employees polled in a recent survey say they work from home or have the option to work from home, reports Hudson, a New York-based recruiter. Meanwhile, 38% of respondents say they consider dividing time between working in the office and at home as ideal, the survey found. ‘We’re going to continue to see more requests from employees to work from home,’ says Peg Buchenroth, vice president of human resources at Hudson. ‘In today’s competitive market, companies that are progressive enough to allow that will have an edge.’
