Combining Teaching And Franchising With Success

Teresa Defensor:
Although teaching is only one of the many things that businessman Angelito Angeles does every day, it is a vocation he pursues with dedication. He has been teaching computer engineering at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines for 4 years now, a devoted mentor who never fails his students despite the demands of his ink-refilling business.
A mechanical engineer, Angeles worked in Brunei for 10 years and was able to save enough that when he came home to his town in Cavite, he had enough capital to put up his own business. But what sort of business? Having seen the rise and fall of establishments in his hometown and himself having gone through several roadblocks in his many endeavors, he wanted to make sure that his investment would flourish.
It was during a computer expo in Makati that Inke Solution, a Singapore-based ink refilling company with factories in various places in South East Asia, presented itself to Angeles. The PUP professor wasted no time seeking the business proponent in the Philippines, who happened to be Philip Huang, president of E-novation
Digimer Corp., the representative of Inke in the Philippines. A franchise deal was sealed between Angeles and Huang and soon afterwards, Angel’s Ink opened in Rosario, Cavite. More.
