In support of the launch of their free Office Accounting Express 2007 package, Microsoft announced recently a competition to find the most creative small-business idea in America. The winner will receive $100,000 cash, a Manhattan retail storefront for 1 year, plus software, hosting and other technology infrastructure from Microsoft.
Applications, contest rules and additional information are available at IdeaWins.com. Submissions will be accepted through Jan. 31, 2007. A 3-judge panel will review the highest scoring applications to determine four finalists who will be announced in February, and the winner will be chosen in March by the general public.
