Thousands, of AdSense publishers based in Brazil did not receive their Google AdSense payout.
Brazilian webmasters which were expecting the december check (delivered 12/20) noticed the delay this month, and yesterday they received an email from Adsense, informing that the checks are interrupted due to Brazilian customs regulations with couriered payments:
We would like to inform you that the delivery of your Adsense check, issued December 2006, has been unexpectedly interrupted due to restrictions imposed on the courier delivery payments by the Brazilian Customs Regulations.
You can be sure that we are working to solve the problem as soon as possible and we will get in touch with you again when we have more information.
