Chapman University students have managed to turn a celebration of entrepreneurship into a competitive event.
And Chapman wins.
EntrepreneurshipWeek USA has scheduled its kickoff event on Saturday with a week’s worth of activities to stress the importance to the nation of entrepreneurs’ innovation and creativity.
But Chapman’s Students in Free Enterprise group and Leatherby Center for Entrepreneurship and Business Ethics wanted bragging rights as the 1st event of the celebration. So they’ll start the ‘Entrepreneurs Film Marathon’ the night before.
The marathon – free and open to the public with doors open at 8:30 p.m. in Beckman Hall Room 404 – will start with a New Year’s Eve-style countdown at 9 p.m. (midnight Eastern Standard Time) and then show five movies featuring entrepreneurs as key characters. Read more.
