Paradise Valley Home Businesses Find Niche

Jenny Weinstein (photo) thinks of her yoga studio as a gem in the middle of the desert.

Launched out of her Paradise Valley home last year, Mrs. Weinstein found a unique niche in the yoga market.

The Yoga Loft, nestled in the second story of Mrs. Weinstein’s home, was converted into a studio after she realized the not-often-used room had great potential.

According to IDC, a national research firm, home businesses are a $427 billion a year industry worldwide with about 35 million licensed American households.

Residents who operate businesses out of the predominantly residential Paradise Valley report spacious properties and privacy as reasons they enjoy working from home as opposed to renting or purchasing a commercial space. Read on.
