Earn A Solid Income From Bad Dogs

Nearly every dog needs to be trained in one area or another. Some dogs are trained to become competition dogs like those who enter dog agility competitions, or dog shows. Some dogs are trained to work next to our police officers and even our military. Some dogs are also trained to become blind guide dogs.
However, there are plenty of qualified groups of people and individuals who have been training dogs in this way for a very long time. But there is a missing piece. Some of these dog training places will offer to help train pet dogs to get their behavior under control, but they do not necessarily specialize in doing only that type of training.
I challenge you to contact any dog training facility in your area and find one that trains dogs only on their behavior alone. These are usually known as obedience classes or schools. You’ll probably not find one that specializes in just obedience classes for dogs.
This is where you can come in and help these dog owners create pet dogs that are less of a nuisance and more of a great companion. No dog owner wants a dog with a variety of behavioral problems, because many of a dog’s behavior problems will have an effect on them, their neighbors, and their home. Dogs are lovable, loyal pets and they should be just that. But there are some natural instincts dogs have such as barking and biting that dog owners need to train them out of.
The customers you will get will be dog owners that do not have the time to train their dog, simply do not want to take the time to train their dog, do not know how to train their dog etc. Offer an obedience training class for about $25 per class, which will be held on a regular basis. You should hold obedience training classes for dogs about 2 to 3 times per week for as long as it takes to train each dog (they are all different and some will take longer than others to train). You can learn how to train dogs through information on the Internet and at your public library. You should also take some classes on dog obedience training yourself just so you can have something to show the dog owners and put them at ease that their money is being well spent…
You should market your dog obedience classes in the yellow pages, online, with business cards, with flyers, and at veterinarian offices. You could even offer local veterinarians some of the profits for referring customers to you.
