Teenage Entrepreneur Defies Expectations

For most of us, we think of 15 year olds as the MySpace or Facebook generation, who typically are more interested in text messaging and chatting online.

But for Becca Whelchel its all business.

Becca and her mother Elissa have a very unique mother-daughter bond, business partners.

It all started a few months ago at the Forest Festival when the 2 discovered Uppercase Living. It’s a line of vinyl lettering and inspirational saying that can adorn any object.

Becca fell in love with the product and soon after that the two were in business. Since Becca is only 15, the company is in her mothers name. But when it comes to the demonstrations and the presentation of the products, that is all Becca.
