But don’t worry, as our friend Tim Grahl once said, it’s not all about the money.

It really isn’t. And it shouldn’t be. In our Entrepreneur list of priorities, money falls way under working our passion.

There’s tons of ways to make money. And if you join a market merely because you think there’s a pot of gold waiting for you, there’s a good chance you’ll be sorely disappointed.

First off, you’re likely to fail because you aren’t working on something you’re good at or enjoy. If you do succeed, the misery of doing something you don’t love will taint your success.

Be introspective before you decide where to put your efforts.

You’re a better judge of your money making ability than the market is. When choosing what to do, you should look more at yourself then the market.

What do you love? What do you do well?

Figure out your unique personality traits and idiosyncrasies, then see how you can exploit them to become remarkable in the business world.

You’ll have a lot more fun and be a lot more successful.
